Least favorite WOD or movement : Only movements I’m not good at yet, so mainly work on the pull-up bar gives me a good struggle. I especially enjoy challenging myself on split jerks by trying to be ambidextrous. Doing the technical barbell movements, like squat cleans and split jerks are the most rewarding because when you hit the right positions and have proper balance, you can feel the difference. Now that work is picking up again, you’ll see me bright and early.įavorite WOD or movement: No one favorite WOD yet. Which class time do you usually attend? Pre-COVID I was a 6am-er, but after the gym reopened, I was going to 5:30PM. ![]() In the little downtime I have, I do try to play some Xbox, so feel free to add me! The last book I read was, “The Ride of a Lifetime” by Bob Iger in July. I’ve recently gotten invested in learning about coffee. As a natural competitor, I enjoy all sports and will root for all Houston teams (no matter how tough it gets *cough cough* Bill O’Brien). I grew up loving golf and have been spending the last year trying to rediscover my swing after a few years of not really playing (always down to set up a tee time). Very time consuming and it’s a struggle having to essentially block out my entire calendar from any activities January through March, but I’ve been able to see a lot of different companies, from oil and gas giants to healthcare, so that’s been a cool experience. I am still working at Deloitte as an auditor. We moved to Houston in 2018 from Beaumont after I finished my master’s degree in accounting, and I began working as an auditor for Deloitte. During my senior year of undergrad in 2016, I met Victoria, my fiancée. I went to high school at Klein Oak and attended Lamar University where I played football for 4 years. I moved to Spring, TX in 2008 from the Poconos, PA. Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, job, hobbies, interests, etc.).
